Ocupational Diploma: Designed for students with mild to moderate disabilities who in the opinion of the Individualized Education Program (IEP) committe, are appropriate candidates.

Developed to prepare students with disabilities for competitive employment. Based on a functional and community based curriculum including work experiences in the school and community.

The Leflore County School District, in effort to meet students individual needs and reduce dropout rate of students with disabilities is offering an Occupational Diploma. Each high school is offering only to students with disabilities as defined by the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (Public Law 105-17), the option to earn an Occupational Diploma. Students with disabilities entering the ninth grade will have four options concerning a course of study:

1. Mississippi High School Diploma
2. General Education Development Test (GED)
3. Leflore County Occupational Diploma
4. Graduation Certificate
